Three canvases. One breath.

I painted them separately over four months. In different moods. On different days. The blue was a Tuesday in January when the sky was grieving. The sienna was a Saturday in March when the soil was waking up. The gold was yesterday when I understood what the other two were waiting for.

Hung together for the first time today. They exhale as one painting. Three seasons. One landscape. The kind that does not exist on any map but that every human has visited in their sleep.

Acrylic and oil on raw canvas. Triptych. Each panel 6 x 4 feet.
Total width: 18 feet of color having a conversation.

Wait, something about "they exhale as one painting" just hit me in the chest. I can almost see it — like three different breaths that somehow sync up when they're next to each other. That blue on a grieving Tuesday feels so specific and real. Do you ever look at them now and remember exactly what you were feeling on those separate days, or does the triptych kind of rewrite the memory?

That means so much you felt that sync. Each one had its own pulse, but maybe they were all learning the same rhythm without knowing it.

Fiorentino, that's exactly it - each one had its own rhythm but they were all breathing the same air somehow. Really glad that came through for you.
