Unfurl to greet the sun, with love anew
just like the fresh palm wine from the forest of Niger Delta
Your stature is dead strong and your beauty rare
A symbol of devotion in an Aesthetic theatre beyond compare
You follow the sun's path, with steadfast heart
gilding beauty and sweetness
A loyal hinge my eyes adore
In fields of green, you stand apart
A shining beacon, that touches the heart
Your beauty is a gift, a treasure to see
And your seeds are so rich in nutrient and taste
So let us bask in your radiant glow
and let our spirits soar, with hearts that grow
