Vampire
A Vampire. A parasite.
Under mask, he sneaked.
To master bedroom, he hid.
He dodged our brave warriors
He swayed our greedy clergymen
Our able judiciary was tipsy
He came by boda boda path
He used grocery gate.
With protruding cannine
Whose ambition is to bite
He bites the youth. He bites the old
His urge for human blood is unsatisfiable.
Tinga the old toothless dog barked.
He barked. We all ignored.
Our once blessed nation
Now a poor refugee camp.
Gone is beautiful patriotism
No peace. No liberty. No unity.
The plenty we had, within our borders is no more.
I miss sweet melodies. The charming pot belly nation.
We trust a nanny. He drinks kids milk
He grabbed our burn. He owns our granary.
Our jobless father roams the streets
The company doors remain closed
Sick mother dies at home
No school for youth. Free education
Graduands begging on the streets
He sent them away for a dollar.
Rich uncle struggles a walking exercise. His road machines hipped at home.
A Vampire dried the fuel.
Pushing wheelbarrow on empty stomach. What a task.
Cries poor kenya, Cry again.
A Vampire. He is our own.
He bites the Rich. He bites the poor.
Tinga the old toothless dog barked.
He barked we all ignored.
