The Plan Was To Make Money

When I left secondary school, as bright as I was, I didn't know what I wanted to study in the university. Fast forward to my final year in the university studying History, someone asked me the most dreaded question
"Now that you're graduating from uni, what next?"

The normal answer would have been "NYSC" but I said "Make money". I didn't know how but I had experience doing business while in school and so while others were relying on 33k allawee, I knew I wanted more.

After university, just before NYSC I got a job and also had an experience that altered the way I looked at life and when I realized I wasn't the only one going through this young adult phase, I decided to share my experience.

My journey as a content creator didn't stem out of the need to make money but to share my experience and build a community but so money followed. I started creating content for businesses and my personal brand grew pretty fast.

As a growing creator, the problem I still face is picking a niche. I don't want to have to choose between my various areas of interest because I believe I have something to share about all of them, but I'm finding it hard to balance it out.

I love being a full time creator. I love the opportunities it brings and how social media now acts as a bridge, connecting creators with audiences around the world.
This is my journey and it gets better. #learning #contentcreator
