The monster of rejection

Rejection, a monster of twisted might,
Lurks in shadows, waiting to strike.
What's the end product of its painful bite?
Is it life or death, a competition to fight?
Like an onion, rejection leaves its pain,
Tears of sorrow, eyes that suffer in vain.
Yet, even in loss, we find a way to sustain,
To place one foot forward, to rise above the pain.
Feeling empty, without direction or guide,
Rejection's darkness seems to suffocate and divide.
But still, we press on, through the crushing weight,
Seeking intersection, a glimmer of hope to create.
Rejection, a key to unlock perfection's door,
A chance to refine, to learn, to grow once more.
Make rejection a home, a place of connection and suasion,
Where the heart finds solace, and the soul finds its salvation.
