✍️ Most people believe that things happen for a reason. Which I strongly disagree on.
Human beings seek to divine meaning out of natural occurrences. When an earthquake or any natural Disasters occur, most people start using their ideas to explain the reason behind all these natural occurrences. "Oh, God is angry", ",Oh, it is because we did something bad, that is why it happened".
And the truth is that all this occurrences took place not because of a God is angry or any other Illogical reasons.
We shouldn't use our ideas to explain all these occurrences.
The place where I grew up from. Majority of People here are very religious. When a person dies, people will start processing an explanation around the death, they will start saying "He died because he did not pray, oh it happened because you did not use the oil".Many irrational explanations,just an attempt to give meaning to a natural occurrence. Whereas,Death is Natural and inevitable.
The ability to think abstractly and process those thoughts in reality is what makes Human beings the most dominant species. And at the same time, it has made us delusional. It is one of our shortcoming and infallibility. I can have a thought of an elephant with the head of a Leopard with the height of a Giraffe.It doesn't exist.
it is a product of my mind; abstract.
Those thoughts can be processed from our mind into reality. Making them real,but they are not.
It is as a result of the imaginative cognition. I imagined something, my behaviors towards it makes it function in my reality.
The mind is a powerful tool. It is the mind that I feel superior than my fellow humans. It is when I start to process what I created or thought in my mind, it will start to function. Our ideas is a reflection of us. We think of something, it exist,not dependently,but independently. I Think of a cow with a snake head, I process the thought and started to behave as if it exist, obviously one can't see it in reality. I will start to tell people about it as if it exist.
The cow with a snake head can't tell others of it existence. Why? It is a product of my imagination (abstract). We give our thought meaning making it function.
