The Lost Garden

In the idyllic garden where all was serene,
A paradise lush with foliage green.
Amidst the bounty of fruits galore,
One stood out, mysterious and more.

Not the most luscious, nor the sweetest of all,
Yet it beckoned with an irresistible call.
The fruit of knowledge, of right and wrong,
A test for the weak, an allure for the strong.

Many fruits adorned the trees with grace,
Yet this one beckoned, inviting embrace.
In this utopia free from strife,
The choice to abstain was the key to life.

To live in bliss, carefree and okay
To dance through each untroubled day,
But in this simplicity, a void did lay,
A challenge to overcome, come what may.

The Maker's design, wisdom profound,
A puzzle in paradise, waiting unbound.
To engage the mind, to stir the soul,
To seek the truth, to make life whole.

Yet dormant lay the mind so pure,
Unused to challenges, untried and unsure.
The puzzle remained a mystery unsolved,
A riddle of existence, yet to be evolved.

Hints and clues whispered in the breeze,
Beckoning the mind to awaken with ease.
To unlock the secrets, to embrace the unknown,
To journey beyond the garden, to paths yet shown.

Swiftly the serpent slithered in,
Offering guidance veiled in sweet sin.
Whispers of power, control, and wisdom so grand,
Awakened the temptress with a delicate hand.

The fruit, now alluring, its beauty untamed,
Drew her in, her focus claimed.
A siren call, the night restless and long,
This fruit, her desire, her heart's new song.

Crafting a plan to obtain the desired prize,
She needed a pawn for her deceptive guise.
Of all the creatures in the garden's embrace,
The man seemed the one to effortlessly grace.

Together they ventured towards the forbidden delight,
Unknowingly stepping into the game's first bite.
Upon tasting the fruit, the gates unlocked wide,
A challenge won, but in truth, secrets did hide.

Little did they know the game had just started,
In pursuit of desires, their souls now parted.
The temptress, the fall guy, entwined in this tale,
A journey of consequences, where truth may pale.
