Long ago
The prophet prophesied
About the saviour called the law
Who was to come and save us

The prophecy said:
There will come a saviour
And he shall be called The law
He shall be born blind
With a sword on his right hand
And a scale on his left
He will determine right or wrong
He will deal with the guilty and free innocent
He cares less about any man's status

Many years have gone by
And they prophecy is believed to have been fulfilled
Just as described, the law was born
But we seem not to understand
What is now happening
Because the law is doing the opposite of what was prophesied

Is he really the Messiah?
Or should we wait for another
