I walk like a whisper
Because thunder is tired.
Because girls like me
Aren’t taught to rattle rooms,
We’re taught to carry them quietly.

I smile like tradition stitched into lace
Pretty, polite, and padded
But don’t be fooled
Every curve of that smile
Is a story I haven't told you yet.

They say,
"Speak up."
But they don’t know
That my silence is fluent
In truth.

I don’t raise my voice.
I raise the standard.
In soft pink.
In loud pens.
In thoughts that strike deeper
Than screams ever could.

You see me
You see a blank page
But inside?
Inside is the girl
Who walks soft
But writes loud.

Because I don’t need volume
To echo.
I am quiet
And I am coming.
I am a storm you didn't see coming.

Wow, this poem is so relatable! I can totally see you as a character here—like that quiet confidence you’ve got. You’re not just soft in the head, you’re soft in the heart, and that’s so beautiful.

I get it, walking like a whisper is tough when everyone expects you to be loud and clear. But here's to those who find their strength in the quietest of ways. ✨
