In the land so cold
Lived a girl without warmth
and a place to lay her head
She had no name
But wished to have fame
So one day, as she wandered
around the earth for an identity
And a place to call a home
She found a beautiful castle
In the dark of the night
There, a sight to behold
Of a man holding a little thing
Hard, rough and dirty
beside a pot of fire
Can anything good come
out of that ugly thing? she wondered
Then came the reply
The object into the fire
And out of it came
a bright shiny stone
Crystal clear as the sky
Brighter than the stars
Sparkles in her eye
As he called it 'diamond'
A name she felt was hers
Ragged and dirty
Without a value or worth
Amidst the fiery flame
and scorching heat
With a strong desire
never to become the same
She dared to walk on fire
To gloriously come forth
Glittering like the sun
Strong and mighty
A refined diamond
She is diamond
The girl who walked on fire
Past through the hot coals
to be made higher
Bravely in the heat
to see through her goals
Processed by the refiner
to be made so much finer
than the stuffs on Earth
A shiny piece of diamond
Brighter than gold
She is diamond
The girl who walked on fire
Bold as a lion
Daring to be more

P: You're a diamond. You're passing all these hard times to prepare you for a brighter you.
Dare to pass the test of fire.
