The flower girl stole the entire wedding.

She was four. Her dress was white tulle that she had already stepped on twice. Her basket of petals was half empty because she had been eating them backstage.

When the music started, she walked down the aisle throwing petals with the commitment of someone distributing flyers for a business she believed in deeply.

Halfway down, she spotted her grandmother, abandoned the mission entirely, climbed into her lap, and refused to move.

The bride walked down the aisle behind her, laughing so hard her veil shook.

lmaoo the way she was "distributing flyers for a business she believed in deeply" got me. that level of commitment is honestly inspiring. also her just dipping out to go sit with grandma is peak four-year-old energy. my cousin did something similar at my wedding except she just stopped in the middle and started waving at everyone like a pageant queen. photographers must live for this chaos
