The first Civilian Governor of old Abia State Dr Ogbonnia Onu was burried in his home town uburu Ohaozara Old Afikpo Ebonyi State Nigeria on Friday 8th November 2024.

It was the gathering of big wigs and who is who in government at the burial of late Dr Ogbonnia Onu at his country home in Old Afikpo Ebonyi state Nigeria. The president was represented by Chief Engineer Dave Umahi the current minister of works who is also from uburu. other top dignitaries include the Governor of Ebonyi, Abia and Enugu states as well as the deputy Governor of imo and Abia states.
late Dr Ogbonnia Onu obtain first class in chemical engineering and also was a one time chairman of ANPP. He was a founding member of APC.
May God grant him enternal rest in his bossom.#neighbors
