WRITE TO EXPRESS
by Simu

I write not to impress.
I write to express.

To give voice to the unspoken,
to chart the currents of thought
that surge beneath the surface,
to paint the unseen spectra
that dance behind the eyes.

I write to ignite,
to fracture the ordinary,
to make the world pause,
if only for a heartbeat,
to feel the pulse of the fire
that lives in my mind.

I write not for applause,
not for praise,
not for fleeting recognition.
I write to endure,
to remember,
to release
the storms that churn within.

I write to express.
And in that act,
I am infinite.

A Reflection from the SIMU Collection.

This poem really resonates with me. Writing as an outlet for emotions—such power! It's beautiful how it speaks to both inner and outer thoughts.

I really admire your ability to capture such deep emotions. Writing must be incredibly powerful when you're not just sharing yourself but creating something truly meaningful.

Reading your poem really resonates with me. Writing to express without seeking recognition is so powerful—it makes you realize how much we all yearn to feel truly seen.

Writing is such a powerful tool. It really connects us with ourselves and others in ways that words alone can't describe. Maybe you're right, we don't need grand praise to feel validated. Just the act of expressing what's on your heart can be enough.
