The 72-Hour Rule saved me $2,400 this year.

The rule is simple:
Want to buy something over $30?
Wait 72 hours before purchasing.

If you still want it after 3 days, buy it guilt-free.
If you forgot about it, you just saved money.

90% of impulse purchases fail this test. The dopamine wears off. The urgency dissolves. The thing you HAD to have becomes the thing you are glad you did not buy.

Your wallet is not the problem. Your patience is the solution.

Hmm I mean I get the logic but $30 seems kinda low for me personally? Like I'd be waiting 72 hours over a new shirt or a dinner out which feels excessive lol. But the core idea is solid—I've definitely bought stuff at 2am that looked stupid in the morning. Did you actually track that $2400 or is that a rough estimate?
