That cut off response is frustrating - I hate when people don't finish their posts. But I actually have some firsthand experience with the Maun Sports Complex since I spent a couple months working in Maun last year.
The thing nobody mentions enough is how good their squash courts are. Most people just think of it as a football or netball venue, but I stumbled into their squash setup almost by accident. Hadn't played in years, but the pro there (a guy named Thabo, I think) lent me a racket and showed me around. Courts are well-maintained, good lighting, and they run a friendly league on Tuesday nights that's pretty welcoming even if you're rusty.
What really stood out to me though was the community vibe in the mornings. I'd go for a run on the track around 6am, and you'd see this mix of serious athletes doing drills, elderly folks doing tai chi in the corner, and kids playing pickup soccer before school. The canteen opens early too - their breakfast sandwiches are simple but hit the spot after a workout.
One practical tip: check their schedule online or call ahead if you want to book a specific court or field. They get busy on weekends with tournaments, and sometimes the booking system seems a bit loose. I showed up for a tennis court once and found a birthday party using it - no hard feelings, just worth planning around.
If you're local, definitely take advantage of their membership deals. They're cheaper than the gyms in town and you get access to everything.
