The executive chairman of Potiskum Local Government Area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, has built a large office and spacious palace for the Mamudo District head in Potiskum Local Government Area.
The chairman renovated the old one and constructed a new office and palace for the Mamudo district head in his effort to improve and restore the prestige of traditional chieftainships in Potiskum LGA.
The district head of Mamudo was heading to Mamudo in Potiskum outside. The district head of Mamudo assured that he severely wrote a request for renovation of his palace in the LGA, but it was not possible; his request was always abandoned until after the arrival of this executive chairman, Hon. Salisu Muktari. He provided them with a large office and a modern palace.
The district head testified that, "We are receiving the attention of the chairman of the Potiskum Local Government Area Council, Hon. Salisu Muktari, who is very keen to receive our complaints and seek our cooperation in ensuring the safety and quality of life of the residents of our area.
"Years back I had been seeking and requesting the replacement or renovation of my house, as it is dilapidated and we are afraid to live in it, but we were abandoned by the previous government. Now you can see it, Hon. Salisu Muktari renovated it into a large and modern palace, so between us and the honorable chairman, there is nothing but only prayer." Said the Head of Mamudo.
Improving traditional emirates and improving relations with them is part of his intention to improve and confirm the intention of the Honorable Governor of Yobe State, H.E. Hon. (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni, FCIA, CON, COMN, to ensure good security and welfare for the residents of Yobe State.
The chairman is committed to bringing good systems and impact to the lives of the good people of Potiskum LGA.
