In the heart of Owasi ancient forest, two shadows danced under the silvery glow of a beautiful moonlight, their hearts intertwined with heavy emotions bounded in secrets. Ella a young beautiful undine with a flair of innocent glow, and Ediabali, a broad shoulders man with a masculine physique of an athletic, were both lovers bound by an extraordinary secret.
Their romance began one fateful night when Edi was wandering through the forest in his wolf form, he stumbled upon Ella in his mermaid form seating on a rock at the mouth of Ogene rivers bathing the moonlight. Beauty and meekness in her eyes she was staring at the fierce monstrous creature before her, irrespective of the sharp contrast between them strange connection was found within their hearts.
Edi in his monstrous form was majestic and fierce, yet there was something in his monstrous eyes that spoke of gentleness and caring. Drawn by an inexplicable connection beyond their secret nature, Love was found in the strangest place of life.
As weeks turned into months, their meetings became a cherished ritual, with a regular bath under the beautiful moonlight at Ogene river. By day, both lives their normal life in Owasi village, a community where whispers of mysterious tales fuels the itching ears with enticing rumors. By night, Ella transformes herself into a beautiful mermaid, a nature she had inherited from her maternal ancestral linage because she is regarded as Nwa mmiri, Edi on the other hand transforms himself into a warewolf at the slightest sight of a moonlight, Oke Amadi as he is traditional referred. Every night at the shore of Ogene river they were free to be their true selves, the true Ogbanje's!
One night, as the moon reached its zenith, the village's hunters encroached upon the forest. Ella and Edi, lost in their eldorado of infatuation was seen in their strange forms by hunters.
Faced by a dangerous peril, they choose to become fugitives in their own land, determined to escape and find a new place where they could live without fear, both of them fleed the community deeper in the woods to find a safe place for their love.
The villagers and the elders of the land grew restless as news of these strange occurrences around the forest spread, rumors of dark magic and monstrous creatures in the woods spread like wildfire, culminating in a decision to rid the land of their supposedly assumed threat.
With a fierce resolve, Edi decided to fight back to defend their love, his wolf form a blur of strength and agility. Ella in her cumly look was heartbreaking as their love was threatened, resolved to wage war against the intruder, Ella used her magic to shield Edi, her spells weaving a protective barrier around them. Their love, pure and powerful, fueled their fight for Freedom of Expression and Acceptability. Both were masters in deceptive gemicks, confusing and derailing the hunters and the community at large, they were able to evade the traps and hunts that threatened their love and true nature. The hunters, realizing the depth of the bond between them and the power they wielded, were left to ponder the true nature of what they've had pursued.
Guided by divination, Peace was found instead of War, Appeasement and Agreement was reached between the strange lovers and the people of Owasi as the annual ritual of Ogenemma became the solution to the eminent threat.
Lost in Love, Ella and Edi choose to give up the flesh other than face hates and rejection in their human form. Consumed by their unwavering affection, Ella and Edi choose to live in their godlike spiritual forms, providing protection and providence to the people of Owasi while accepting their sacrifices to sustain their Love within the ethereal Plane: the abode of the Gods.
Deep down the heart of Owasi ancient forest, surrounded by Oma river, Ella and Edi found a new home where they could live their lives in peace. The ancient forest, now a place of solace and safety, became their sanctuary. Their love, forged in the fires of adversity, endured through the ages, a testament to the power of connection in the face of darkness, displayed a show of true love and total acceptance regardless of their individual differences.
