solitude and darkness
boredom rose in a night,
to a lonely fellow in darkness,
who -thriving to find grace,
beyond the limit of his troubled space.
.
forgotten and forlornly for long,
yet, yearned for peace, love
and liberty -out of compound
stronghold of bondage.
.
that night, like many past,
pockets -empty, and wallets
spent and mortal's venter
demanding a morsel.
.
arms -furious, mind -curious,
labour had refused to call
in whiles limbs truly set
for fruitful exploits.
.
that night, all held still, like
nature ate sleeping pill.
that night, silence was louder
than the sound of sound.
.
albeit there's hope, which
in speed -laggs, there's this
scope of the need to cope till
the end of the road.
.
that night, as he saw time
growing weary, the soul whispered,
you need a soulful companion
other than a cloud of darkness!
