O My country,
who bewitched you?
a nation so mighty and great.
tall and high like Everest,
great in wealth, potentials -people with might.
who had bewitch you to be small?
O My nation, land of our father,
the Joy of our mother.
land clothes with love turned greed.
it is I not us,
it's me not we - like Lucifer.
Greed and selfishness, adorment of your head and shame to the whole body.
who is he that bewitch you?
O my Clan, a people of renoun.
why sold your strength to dirt?
why the path of Esau and Dinah?
petrify stinking nature of greed.
your daughters you sold to hardship,
your sons you give to crime,
your men beg to live,
your women weep on the street.
the pain of greed hurt than heartbreak.
O ye that watch, nothing will be left to watch.
Bewitchment of filthy minds meddles at all, thou are not safe.
Wake to your purpose, cry on the street. Go to market places, weep before your kings, let them know - they will never escape with this.
when you are done, tell them we all shall journey soon, and all left aback.
Greed takes us Back.
