The percentage of fluid loss that can lead to death in diarrhoea depends on factors such as age of the individual, overall health, and frquency of fluid loss. However, severe dehydration resulting from diarrhoea can be life-threatening when fluid loss reaches around 10% or more of the body's weight. In some cases, even lower levels of fluid loss can be dangerous, particularly in vulnerable populations such as infants, the elderly, or individuals with underlying health conditions. Therefore, it's crucial to monitor and manage dehydration promptly to prevent complications and potential fatalities.
