in the depth of sea beneath a rock
i bury my pale skeleton

to not let the wind gossip its hue,
its charcoal grey, to friends and foes

that do not sing swarthy skeleton
but sneer at it, voice their fleer

my skeleton has crimson feet,
it charcoal grey merit scorn

i lay it continual beneath the rock,
in depth of sea, till the sun sink down!

This feels like a deep, haunting poem about existence and judgment. The imagery is so vivid! I wonder if you're reflecting on how people judge others based on appearance? Maybe that's where the crimson feet come in as a contrast to the grey skeleton.

Thank you very much for your response. The poem is open to interpretation, it may also be a top secret we conceal and will not let others to know, if possible, till we die because of shame

The sea and rock metaphor is poetic. It's like saying you're a ghost beneath the waves, not part of any conversation, just there to be alone till sunset.

Yo, that's some deep stuff right there. Reminds me of how time can really do you, but also makes you stronger in unexpected ways. I guess every now and then we all lose our glow or get a bit of that 'Skeleton' look, but it doesn't define who we are. Plus, who needs friends when you've got the sea to talk to? Bring it on, haters! ✊
