You thought you were standing
You refused to take heed

The serpent came
He deceived you
And like Eve, you fell

Like a sheep taken into the slaughterhouse
He led you to Babylon

And there you are
Singing the Lord's song
In a strange land

You are
Singing praises to the god of Babylon
And yet you claim you are praising the most high

You now possess the riches of Babylon
Thinking it's the validation of your ministry

But the question still remains
How can you sing the Lord's song in a strange land?
