UNCHARTED PATH .
Night stretches longer in this prison”,
It dawns on me sadly,
“A solo dancer under the starry skies, “
“Men screaming in the night like children fearing darkness or storms,”
“I need myself more than I need lovers,”
Standing firm,I walk my own road,
I need myself more than I need others,
Free to roam , where wildflower blooms,
For everything i yearn first in other I must find within me ,
And learn to give to myself with abundance ,
In solitude , I find my freedom.
If not the world will starve me,
With the economy not stable ,
Reaching for the tightrope when the crowds have all gone home,
It’s hard to stop loving the ocean after it left you gasping and salty,
Tendrils of longing , entwined in my heart,
Souls whispers, in the dead of night .”
