In the heartland, where the Nile's waters flow,
Rises a melody, Africa's ancient glow.
In the river's murmur, in the raindrop's grace,
Lies the rhythm, in water's tender embrace.
The Nile, a maestro, in the northern expanse,
Carrying the music, in its aquatic dance.
In the river’s course, in each falling rain,
Life’s melody pulses, a heartbeating refrain.
Southwards where the Limpopo sings,
The drumbeat resonates, and the marimba rings.
In the river's journey, in the rainfall's dance,
The music of Africa, in water's trance.
East where the Jubba River, quietly weaves,
The kora hums softly, as the day recedes.
In the river's whisper, in the rain's sweet hymn,
An African symphony, at the horizon's brim.
Westwards, the Niger, with its mystery unfurls,
Carrying the rhythm, on its waterway curls.
In the river's ebb, in the rain's soft song,
In Africa’s waters, where the notes belong.
These rivers chart a course, across the motherland,
Spreading the music, on every grain of sand.
From the heart of Africa, to the ocean's deep,
In the sound of the waters, the melody seeps.
Unbound, like the rivers, the music flows,
Reaching the foundations, where the ocean goes.
From Africa's heart, to the world's wide berth,
In the sound of the waters, the music finds its worth.
In the rain's chorus, in the river's ride,
The music of the waters, Africa's pride.
From river to ocean, under the sun's gaze,
The music of Africa, in water's endless maze.
