CHAPTER 23&24

NEXT MORNING, 7AM*
Emory felt chilliness firsthand, then intense cold.
At firstshe thought she's back the freezer or maybe her enemies decided to throw her in one of the water bodies this time
Or is she still in the Dreamland? Is she still having the nightmare where Levi comforted her and calmed her down on his laps?
If she's on his laps, then why is everywhere cold?
She moved slowly, and the sound of water swirling around her made her eyes fly open.
She's in the bathroom! Inside the bathtub which is filled with water, and she's not even free.
Her two hands are raised up above her head and chained together, then tied to a metal on top.
What the hell!
Her eyes widened madly, and when she tried standing, it was impossible cos the water spilled instead, wetting the bathroom ground.
No, it can't be real... right?
"Finally awake?" The familiar velvety voice came from the other side, and she faced that angle swiftly, only to see Levi sitting there on a metal chair, looking devilishly lethal as his brown hair sprawled in a tousle on his head.
The level of unhinged energy attached to this guy is illegal, he was custom-made from hell.
His left eye is twitching repeatedly, and the smirk is tugging smugly at his lip corner.
"What do you think you're doing?" Emory gritted, struggling to free herself from the chains again, but it only made water pour on the ground again.
The chains began hurting her wrists too as a result of her aggressive pull.
Levi rose to his feet in all tallness, and she stopped struggling to look back at him.
"Levi it's not funny ok?" She said, swallowing her fear.
"There...you said that name last night..." His eyes darkened as he came closer to the tub.
Her eyes widened, and her mind went back to her dream where she climbed Levi's laps and said his name...
Wait...that was real?
She wasn't dreaming?
Her eyes widened for the third time.
"You kept tempting me, and have I told you how much I like it, little fox?" He got to her and crouched over, resting his palms on the tub edges.
"You tied me up in a bathtub only because I called you by your name? Isn't your name Levi? You're Levi Banks!" She spat.
"And you learn to shut up when you should! Who do you think you are, hmm? You know nothing so how about you do as I say?" He glared, and she bit her tongue, struggling with the chains again.
Her wrists hurts so fuçking much, but he doesn't seem to care.
Their eyes locked, and she saw nothing but darkness and emptiness, hollowness and deviance.
It's like he sold his soul to the devil and there's nothing left to offer.
He's really out to destroy her. She should have known.
"Let me go" she muttered.
"Not so quick" he tilted his head, entering the tub with her.
She held her breaths as he went behind her and slipped his hands on her shoulders.
He traced the curves up to silts of her neck, and she gulped when he began tracing his pointer finger on her bare collarbones, touching her sensually.
Again, his scent invaded her nostrils, and she could feel the heat of his presence as he traced the finger up to her throat.
She gulped multiple times in a second, unable to breathe at the touches.
She's new to this, no male ever touched her intimately before.
And it's worse cos she doesn't feel triggered by him, otherwise she should be throwing up by now or getting an episode.
"S-stop touching me like that..." She muttered, panting for breaths.
"Shh" he shushed
She held her breath again as he traced the finger painstakingly slow down the neckline of her clothes.
She's wearing five blouses, but with her hands tied up like this, it'd only take one second to pull them off.
"Don't do it ... Oo -ok?" She sniffled, palpitating so bad.
He slipped his hand into her layer of blouses, and her head snapped.
If he moves that hand one more time, he'd be touching her lace bra.
"Banks...stop" she shivered, but no sign of stopping came from him.
She was about to scream when she remembered something suddenly...
"Red!" She gasped, and his hand movement stopped.
"It's the safe word, right? Red" she repeated, and he brought his hand out finally.
He stepped out of the tub, and she released all the breaths she has been holding.
"Good girl" he smiled darkly, stroking her hair before starting to walk out.
"Unchain me!" She said.
He stopped to look back.
"Sorry, little fox. You're not stepping out of here today" he said, and she gasped.
"You can't be serious, right? Banks! Banks wait! Banks!!" She screamed as he shut the door.
She bit her lip hard, cursing him inwardly as she felt the sting of the chains on her wrist again.
"Fûck you Banks! Fûck!" She cussed.
Who's gonna save her from this sick guy?

Levi had his bath already, so he only got dressed when he arrived back in the room.
He topped his denim and black shirt with the hockey team jacket, then he stepped out of the room, only to meet the girls by the door.
Rebekah, Nina, Lizzy and Rain.
"Where is Emz?" Rebekah frowned.
"She decided to stay in today" Levi replied simply.
"Are you serious right now?" Nina blinked.
"Have fun alone, she'd be fine" Levi replied and made to leave, but Rebekah blocked him.
"What are you up to? Where did you keep her?" She asked.
"Staying indoors is the best option I could come up with, unless you want her to get hurt, badly" he glared, looking at Lizzy.
Lizzy blinked and came forward.
"I think...I think I know what's going on. Emz will be fine," she said.
"Lizzy!" Nina grabbed her.
"I'm serious" Lizzy replied, and Levi left after locking the door.
Rain couldn't add anything, she could only stare at his backside as he walked down the hall.
"Lizzy I won't forgive you if anything happens to Emz" Rebekah voiced.
"Maybe it's The Titans again, who knows? Last time it was me, what if their target is Emz this time" Lizzy replied.
"Makes sense, but if that's the case then why is he protecting her?" Nina frowned.
"Banks and Emory...are they close a lot?" Rain finally talked.
"Nope, Emz hates him" Rebekah replied, and Rain smiled.
"Maybe he's really protecting her, Banks is nice" she said, and Omar came rushing down to them.
"Where's Emory? I need to talk to her" he said breathlessly.
"Since when did you and Emz start talking to each other" Nina rolled eyes.
"He saved her from the freezer remember?" Lizzy said.
"Even though" Nina sighed.
"It's dangerous I really need to see her right now, like now!" Omar said urgently.
"She's in a lockdown for all today" Rain replied, and the girls left him.
Omar inhaled in relief immediately.
The plan won't materialize if she doesn't come out.
He was smiling as he left the hall.

Levi arrived at his friends room and found them ready too.
Conrad is mixing his coffee with tequila while Hyce is eating another apple from the bag.
"Where do you wanna get buried at?" Levi deadpanned, staring at the apple.
"Kill me and give my body to Isaac" Hyce replied with a silly laughter.
Levi snatched the half-eaten apple from him and gave him a punch on the nose.
Hyce fell from the bed to the ground, his nose bleeding.
"Wanker, I ate two apples and now you're after my life?" He said, wiping his bleeding nose.
"You ate two?" Levi smirked.
"Yeah, he ate one last night too" Conrad talked, sipping from his diluted coffee.
Levi almost smashed Hyce's face again, but Hyce jumped to the other side of the bed with a grin.
"I'll keep that for another day, bîtch" Levi scoffed, taking an apple.
He threw his weight on a couch and got a note out of his pocket.
He found it beside Emory's pillow last night... The note she was given in the freezer.
STAY OUT OF LEVI'S LIFE.
He took a big bite from the apple as he read it over and over again, trying to decipher the owner of the handwriting.
"What's this?" Conrad took the note from him.
"Never seen this handwriting before" Hyce said, checking it out too.
"It belongs to the culprit, yeah?" Conrad asked.
Levi remained silent, rolling the apple on his palm.
"So... whoever it is...he's doing this because he wants her out of your life? Weird" Hyce said.
"He? It's a female, only females use lines like this. A female who's madly obsessed with you. You can feel the obsession from the note" Conrad said.
"Maybe he used female lines intentionally. I believe it's a guy cos almost every lady in the campus is obsessed with Banks" Hyce replied.
They both shifted their gazes to Levi who has been silent.
"Any thoughts?" Conrad asked.
"I saw the handwriting somewhere before, trying to recall " he muttered standing up and taking back the note.
"Chadwick obviously has plans today. Are you gonna follow Emory around again? There might be mistakes" Hyce said.
"She's staying in throughout " Levi replied, walking out.
"Nasty" Hyce smiled, showing off his chin dimple.
"I can imagine her chained up, it's Banks after all" Conrad chuckled before downing the remaining diluted coffee in his cup.
He left the room with Hyce.

The purpose of the tour is for peopling and socializing, students getting closer and whatnot.
The island trip comes first, then the food feast, the pyjamas party in the evening and the pool party at midnight.
The students are crowding out to the island for the tour already, but The Titans are meeting briefly.
They're already gathered at the base of a mahogany tree at the back of the lodge, and Omar is the last one to arrive.
Immediately he joined, the eyes of Romeo and Juliet landed on him, and he began feeling uncomfortable.
"Emory is nowhere to be found. I haven't seen her this morning and I eavesdropped on her friends saying she's staying in throughout" North said restlessly.
"And why would she decide to stay in today" Chadwick questioned no one in particular.
"Maybe there's a snitch between us, a spy" Juliet spoke up, sounding sadistic.
"What do you mean?" North faced her.
"Omar" Romeo said, and Omar's heart jumped.
"Not me!" He faced him.
"I saw you saving Emory last night, and also... Juliet saw you at Chadwick and North's door too, you were probably eavesdropping" Romeo said.
"No! No i didn't...I...
Omar was already on the ground before he could finish.
North picked up the cage of snake and and opened it.
She brought out the snake with her bare hand, and Chadwick took the serpent from him.
Omar started crying as he shifted back on his butt till he got to the wall.
"Please I really didn't snitch on your guys. I've always lived by the oath I swear. I didn't!!!" He cried out again.
Chadwick threw the snake at him, and the serpent coiled itself around Omar, squeezing him tightly.
Omar struggled hard, but he's obviously no match for it.
Thankfully, the snake venom has been extracted, so he didn't get stung, but when the snake was removed from his body three minutes later, he was almost lifeless.
North returned the snake to the cage and carried it like an handbag as she left with the others.
They left him on the ground.
Romeo and Juliet, the evil couple were smiling as they followed.
"Should we move to plan B?" North asked.
"If she still refuses to come out, then plan B is useless too" Chadwick gritted his teeth annoyingly.

LODGE*
The whole environment is silent as all the students are out for the tour already.
A pair of oversized vans stepped into the lodge suddenly, and the trenchcoat was flowing as the person walked to the door of Emory and Levi's room.
He got an extra key and opened the door, taking steady steps to the room.
When he found no one in the room, he proceeded to the bathroom.
Emory was already asleep in the bathtub when he stepped in, and her chained wrists were already bleeding.
He continued the silent steps till he got to the tub.
He unlocked the chains, and Emory fell into the water face first with a loud gasp.
She struggled for seconds before she was finally able to stand up, and by the time she did, the person was already gone.
"Who was that? Levi? Did that bastard change his mind already?" She muttered, stepping out.
Water was dripping out of her, so she took off the wet clothes and had a really quick bath.
She dressed up and wrapped a bandage on the wound on her wrists.
She took her jacket and stormed out of the room, determined to find Levi and punch him or something, but she halted when she met North waiting in the hall.
"Hey" North waved.
Angrily, she pushed North aside and continued her walk, but she was blocked by Romeo and Juliet.
"Is this a...
Before she could say DRAMA, Juliet sprayed a sedative perfume on her face, and Emory fell heavily to the ground.
Romeo carried her, and the girls followed as they took her away.
*
ISLAND*
The students are everywhere.
The tour came to an end some minutes ago, and the food feast is about to start
Caterers are starting to wheel in ostentatious delicacies, and lots of students are capturing the moment on their phones.
Some even brought cameras and ring lights for more effects.
Rebekah and Nina are part of the paparazzi, but Lizzy is seated alone, holding a cup of water.
"Hey, you're not snapping pictures?" Rain came to her.
"I miss Emz" Lizzy replied.
"C'mon, it's just for today, and it's for her benefit" Rain shrugged, and Lizzy sighed.
Isaac came to the food tray to get some syrup for his pancakes, and he coincidentally met Hyce there.
He came for the syrup too, so their hands touched it at once.
Isaac quickly removed his hand and turned to leave.
"Avoidance is the next resolve now?" Hyce said, and he faced him.
He saw Rain looking at them, so he comported himself before speaking.
"I already told you in many languages that I'm straight, meaning I'm not gay like you, the hell?" He glared.
"Are you sure you're straight? Maybe I just need to hit a nerve" Hyce chuckled, and he shook his head.
"You're hopeless"
He walked away, and Hyce sighed.
Levi and Conrad are at another side of the island, and like an addict, Levi is eating a red apple again.
Conrad has a bottle of vodka with him this time.
"Why am I not seeing Chadwick and his parasites anywhere?" Conrad suddenly said.
Levi let go of the apple with him, his lips so red from the effect.
He ran his eyes through the island and truthfully, not even one of The Titans is seen.
He got suspicious immediately and stood, getting his phone that's connected to the room.
He clicked on the camera, and his eye twitched when he didn't see Emory in the bathtub.
He rushed all the way to the lodge and checked the room, but she's really gone.
Conrad and Hyce rushed in at the same time, and they both faced each other.
"She's gone" they chorused.
"Where could they take her?" Hyce muttered.
"There's a hearth some meters from here, we had bonfire there last year, pretty sure they took her there" Conrad said.
"No. It can't be somewhere that obvious, they're not daft" Hyce replied.
Levi's eyes turned bloodshot already, and the darkness breathing into it worsened everything.
He looks mad scary as he faced them, a replica of a devil incarnate.
"Inform the others, now" he ordered, leaving the room.
"What if I tell you I missed this side of Banks?" Hyce laughed.
"Bastard" Conrad jabbed him, rushing out with him.
*
ACROSS THE WATER*
Emory saw total darkness when she opened her eyes, but she's not alone.
She's surrounded by every member of The Titans except Omar.
She's tied to a stake.
She's tied again, and she feels so tired.
Fuçking tired...the sedative is obviously still in action cos she can't even open her eyes well or talk.
There's a fireplace burning not far from her, and North threw another stick into the fire before grinning.
"Welcome back, Emory Carson"
Her voice echoed, and she looks like a grin reaper as she laughed again.
They're in a cave, a medieval one which looks like an anthill.
Romeo and Juliet were grinning from ear to ear as Chadwick got his cell and dialled Master X's line on FaceTime.
Master X picked in no time, and Chadwick smiled like a spoilt child.
"Father, you need to watch this" he said, directing the camera at Emory.
Master X remained unmoved as Romeo untied Emory, and her body fell to the ground.
"Let's start the rites" North cackled, sitting beside Juliet.
* Start!
* Start!
* Start!!
The members began chorusing, and the flames from the fire rose to the cave roof, fogging the place.
Romeo started dragging Emory with himself, and merely feeling his hand on herself made her throw up twice before they could arrive at where he's taking her.
He clicked a button in a remote, and a old pool opened on the ground.
Sensing what he's gonna do, Emory faced him and tried punching him, but she's so darn weak.
He caught her hands easily and grabbed her hair, shoving her face into the water.
Her heart exploded when she saw two sharks in the water, swimming towards her.
She started struggling to raise her head, but Romeo shoved it deeper.
The sharks swam closer and closer, and she started gulping water.
* Yes!!!
The members screamed out again.
Juliet and North got themselves coconut waters, and they clinked the shells before drinking with their straws, enjoying the show.
"See that, father?" Chadwick laughed, making sure Master X is witnessing everything on camera.
Master X remained neutral like a stone, and Romeo brought Emory's face up, only to shove it back in.
The sharks are almost reaching her right now, and she lost her mind immediately.
Her weakness ain't helping, and she began gasping for breaths, beating the water with her hands as she gulped again and again.
'Why is no one coming?'
'Are the sharks gonna swallow me?'
'Someone please... come'
'Someone'
Chadwick laughed out when Romeo pulled her head up again.
He was about to shove it back for the third time when the roof of the cave broke suddenly, and stones rolled in.
It's almost like an earthquake as a car landed in, the tyres screeching hard.
The members stood immediately, and the top members grabbed their guns.
North, Juliet, Romeo and Chadwick.
The others stood at alert, and their eyes widened when two masked guys came out of the car.
Their mask is red and white, the opposite of their own.
"The Vikings" Chadwick muttered, pocketing his phone.
More members jumped in through the roof, and within three minutes, over twenty Vikings members are already in.
"How dare y'all interrupt!" North grinded.
"And show your faces, cowards!" Chadwick yelled.
He has barely said that when one of the first two guys took off his mask..
Hyce!
Eyes widened, but the shock doubled when the second one took off his mask.
Conrad.
"What the fûck" Romeo muttered.
The third person to take off her mask is a female...
Rebekah.
"The hell" Juliet dropped her hand in total shock.
Then the last person jumped into the cave, masked in total black.
He jumped down from the car bonnet, making dusts fly as he stood in front of them all.
The moment he took off his mask, revealing his sweaty cold face, Chadwick lost his voice.
One and only Levi Banks!
"Welcome, Unholy Lion, the king" Hyce hailed.
"Y--ou?" Chadwick stuttered.
It's like the rest of his members are tied cos they couldn't move.
The shock is too much to dissolve obviously.
Levi looked over at Emory's unconscious body on the ground, and the darkness fogged around him even more, choking him mercilessly like a noose.
Fire was burning sinisterly in his eyes as he drew out his belt.
Surprisingly, the belt is a foldable sword, and the moment it came out, it stood straight in his hand.
He threw it forward, and it flew into the crowd of The Titans.
It came back to him after a minute, stained with blood already.
Immediately he caught the sword back, the heads of four Titans fell from their necks, and blood flowed like a river.
"Levi!!!!!!" Chadwick roared.
"Wrong" Levi rolled his eyes devilishly, throwing the sword at Chadwick.
