Rain

I stood quietly by the side,
Waiting patiently for the rain to start.
Oh yes, I expected it for my weather forecast said to expect rain in an hour.
The wind blew heavily,
And lightening lighted up the dark sky!
Soon...,
The droplets came, kissing my skin with it's cool touch.
I ran back to my room;
Heart pounding in excitement I bolted the door.
My back against the bed, as I looked out the window watching the rain slide down the window with a smile to my face as it brought me peace long sort.
