Psalm 46:5 - Word Study

"God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day."

WORD STUDY:

WITHIN (Hebrew: qereb) - in the midst, the center, the innermost part. Not beside her. Not near her. WITHIN her.

FALL (Hebrew: mot) - to waver, slip, shake. She may bend. She may shake. But she will not collapse.

BREAK OF DAY (Hebrew: panah boqer) - literally "the turning of morning." Help comes at the exact moment darkness turns.

What this means for me: God is not watching from a distance. He is in the centre of who I am. And the help I need is already scheduled for the exact moment I need it.
