The executive governor of Yobe State, H.E. Hon. Mala Buni, CON, COMN, has given the health sector influence and priority and is also determined to ensure first-level health centers in every district, as he promised to provide quality ones under 178 wards/districts of Yobe State.
Governor Buni has promised to provide adequate health care to the people of Yobe State since the beginning of his administration, where he has created a good management system with international standards for the health sector across the state.
The Governor further promised to provide quality primary health care in every zone in order to provide a good first-level health care system for the people of the state.
Now under the government of H.E. Hon. Mai Mala Buni, CON, COMN, Yobe state owned 138 primary-level hospitals, of which there are 40 remaining that the government has set its intention to complete this year.
Governor Buni is committed, and he is following through on his promises to ensure that he fulfils them.
"We are following the promises we made to our people to make sure we fulfil them. We are not afraid of falling down; what we are afraid of is Allah and how we will live with people after our term ends if we do not fulfil the promises we made to them." Governor Buni said.
Of course, Governor Buni went out to consult and follow through on the promises he made during the election campaign to ensure that they are fulfilled.
