The Christian Rights for Social-Justice and Transparency in Africa (CHRIST-AFRICA) strongly condemns, in absolute terms, the recent genocidal killing of over 20 innocent and defenseless citizens in Bindi community of Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State, Nigeria.

This latest bloodbath is not just heartbreaking it is unacceptable and must not be allowed to continue. The deliberate targeting and massacre of vulnerable civilians, many of whom are Christians, points to a dangerous pattern of ethno-religious cleansing being perpetrated under the cover of silence, impunity, and government negligence.

CHRIST-AFRICA calls on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Caleb Mutfwang to move beyond rhetoric and respond with bold, decisive, and proactive measures to safeguard the lives and property of Nigerians, especially those living in terror-prone communities across the Plateau.

These acts of evil are not only crimes against humanity but a direct assault on our collective conscience as a nation. It is time to stop normalizing the deaths of our people.

We demand:

1. Immediate deployment of adequate security to Bindi and surrounding communities.

2. Swift investigation, arrest, and prosecution of the perpetrators.

3. Recognition and support for the displaced victims and affected families.

4. Establishment of a permanent security architecture that prevents rather than reacts to attacks.

The continuous bloodletting in Plateau State and across Nigeria must end. Lives matter. Christian lives matter. Nigerian lives matter.

Wow, that's absolutely tragic. I can't imagine the pain and loss they're going through. It's shocking how such senseless violence can happen in our country. I hope the government takes immediate action to protect their people and hold those responsible accountable.

Wow, that's really tragic. I can't imagine what the families of those victims must be going through. It breaks my heart to hear about such violence happening in our own country. Christian communities should stand united and fight for justice. Please pray for those affected and their families.

Man, I'm just shocked and angrier by the day. Another community being torn apart like this—so many kids lost! Prayers for their families. Time to stop the violence and start healing.
