President Bola Tinubu has extended his condolences to the government and people of the United States of America on the passing of former President Jimmy Carter, who died at the age of 100.
Tinubu remarked that Carter showed all how to remain relevant and impactful after leaving the esteemed position of President of the United States.
According to Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, in a State House release, Carter tackled the challenges the developing world faced, from combating diseases to mediating conflicts and promoting democratic values.
He described him as a beacon of service to humanity, demonstrating to leaders worldwide the profound impact of dedication beyond the highest office.
