Power in Community: “Build with Others—Alone is Overrated”

There was once a sculptor named Remi. He was gifted—hands that could turn stone into poetry—but he believed that greatness could only be achieved in solitude. So, for years, he labored alone, determined to build what he called The Wall of Wonders… a masterpiece that would echo through time.
But time was not kind. The wall remained unfinished. No matter how hard he worked, it never moved fast enough. His vision was bigger than his strength—but pride kept him silent.
One day, a small boy walked by and asked,
“Why don’t you let others help?”
Remi replied, “They’ll only ruin what I see in my mind.”
The boy paused and said something that pierced him:
“But how can you reflect the soul of the people… without the people?”
That night, Remi couldn’t sleep.
The next morning, he did something bold. He opened his gate.
People showed up—artists, builders, musicians, poets, even children. Some brought ideas, some brought their hands, and others brought nothing but energy and joy. Together, they worked—not just building a wall, but breathing life into a dream.
And something incredible happened…
The wall became more than stone. It became a mirror of the community—a mural of stories, scars, beauty, and shared purpose. It was no longer “his” masterpiece—it was theirs.
When it was done, Remi looked at it—weathered, humbled, in awe—and whispered,
"This… is what I was trying to build all along."

My people, we are not built to walk alone.
You might have the vision.
You might have the fire.
But if you want to build something that outlives you—something that moves people—you need others. Collaboration isn’t weakness. It’s power. It’s legacy.
Build with others. Alone is overrated.
Let’s create more Walls of Wonder—together.
