The Potiskum local government communities commend the executive chairman of the local government area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, based on his efforts to provide development projects from different federal agencies, ministries, and state governments.
They also praised him for showing enthusiasm, prioritising the needs of the community directly, showing dedication in providing development projects, and bringing sustainable solutions to the problems of the local government directly.
The community sees the chairman as the first chairman who is carrying out the development activities and shows his zeal and love for the development of the local government area because they know him based on his experience and call that everything must be put aside to face the development of the local government area.
"We must put aside our prejudices, pride, and self-needs to face the challenges that afflict our local government and provide sustainable development projects for our people.
"While facing our problems, we have to close our eyes, close our ears and sacrifice everything to improve our tomorrow and that of our people in order to create a beautiful Potiskum that will be full of pride to all of us in the future." Hon. Salisu Muktari testified.
Many communities in different areas of the 10 wards in Potiskum local government confirmed their support to the chairman for providing development projects that directly affect the lives of the people across the local government.
"We are very proud of our chairman because he stood up to protect our dignity and that of our local government.
"Wherever he is, he always stood up for us to see that we get development projects and provide us with sustainable solutions.
"We also praised and appreciated him for providing us with transformers from the Federal Ministry of Housing, as well as hunting of roads and other development projects from the North East Development Commission of Nigeria (NEDC).
"He is the first chairman who is able to hunt for development projects directly from the main federal ministries to solve and provide benefits to the problems of the local government community." Hon. Bashir Abubakar, Councillor, Bolewa B ward, said
Of course, the executive chairman made a lot of efforts in hunting for projects and development of the economic activities of the local government area; he is also working tirelessly to revive the properties of the local government area.
