As the water broke

As the water broke
From the nile with crooked vines
A babe was born.
splendid the feeling when
She cried sweet tears of honey and water
I hear the nile gushing out sweet melodies
One only matched by the terribly sweet cries of the babe
Singing the sweet song of the nile
The babe is calm,
No shape, no form, just a perfect design…
Filling the earth with breath and life
So vast the waters in the heavens
So sweet the water on earth,
Same stories but different sides
Same storms but different tides.
The same womb that birthed the great blue
Birthed the little pond, they all still shimmer under the moon’s embrace
Inviting the spirits of old for a dance
One last dance, as the babe sleeps to the lullaby of the gushing river Nile.
