The fact that you know
that your lips are charming
and a tool of destruction,
yet you still gave them to me without caution.
If i knew the repercussion..
i would have stay away from it
until i have it I could taste deceit and manipulation in it,
sweet enough to make danger feel like desire.
I don’t know how many kisses it takes
for lips like yours to steal a soul,
but I’m certain the first one worked.
It’s been a week now,
and my bedsheets still remember you,
your scent refusing to leave,
like it signed an agreement in my absence.
it was suppose to be just a one-night thing,
but your presence disagrees.
You left shadows in my room,
echoes of your breath clinging to the walls,
your silence whispers louder than your voice ever was.
I don’t know the powers your lips hold,
but I know this for sure
those kisses weren’t ordinary,
not the kind born from love
or even reckless passion.
The moment you kissed me,
I realized your lips were never meant
just for affection.
They don’t ask.
They take.
Not hearts....
but souls.
And now I sleep alone,
yet I’m never by myself,
because some part of me
never came back
from your lips.
I wonder how many soul you have take with those lips
