ONE YEAR OF 'shege' (Pt. 1)
One year of travesty,
Absurdity and rascality
A year of impunity
One year of victimization
Persecution and prosecution
A year without a conviction
One year of punishment,
Disenchantment and disgruntlement
A year of disappointment
One year of anarchy,
Chaos, catastrophe and terror
A year of extreme horror
One year of oppression,
Suppression and deprivation
A year of starvation
One year of chains,
Handcuffs and shackles
A year of imprisonment
One year of pains
Suffering, wailing and mourning
A year of bereavement
One year of recklessness
Indebtedness and foolishness
A year full of wickedness
One year of miseries
Agonies and anguish
A year of untold hardship
One year of distress
Harassment and maltreatment
A year of torture
One year of scarcity
Begging and borrowing
A year of extreme lack
One year of hyper inflation,
Needless taxation, outrageous levy
A year of milking us dry
One year of locusts, termites,
Grasshoppers and cankerworms
A wasteful year
