If only I could listen to your voice one last time
If only I could dine with you, one last bite
One last sip, mango flavoured minute maid, cold,
The gold of your laughter accompanied by that priceless smile
The way you looked at me, the feeling I felt inside, priceless too
We had something special,
geographical boundaries never dimmed our vibe
The chicken nuggets we loved, they taste the same no more,
even with that extra chilly, you’re the spice that’s missing
Even our jokes so silly, part of the memories I cherish
You went too soon, too fast, by noon you were gone
It’s evening again, I’m watching the moon all by myself
I’ll take no hard drugs to cry me a river, for I’m at peace,
there’s no more pain, I need no rain to cover my tears,
stage 4 was no easy play, on the 19th it took you away
But we’ll meet one day, we’ll dine with the angels
One first bite, one first sip, forever and ever.
