I want a story true,
Of love and romance,
Of sweet songs sung to the lover's ear
by her lover's lips.

I want to hold your hands,
To dance in the rain, in the crowd,
under the sun, and alone.
To play like kids.
and to kiss like teenagers.

I want our hearts to have the rhythm
of the harps,
even when we're not singing love songs.
To say without saying,
To hear without hearing.

I want to grow old holding your hands,
Feeling the warmth of your love,
Seeing your beautiful smile
that sparks electric currents on me.

Oh, my lover, my lover.
