Girl in the crowd
#CONFESSION💯
Crowds!
Oh! Not a girl of the multitude
For many years it tore me
Crowds squeezed my breathe
Walking felt like transfixing me
All eyes on me
And the best I could do was walk
Walk wishing to never go back
But suddenly I hear my name
No!
Not the girl of the crowd
Should I obey commands
Stand at the podium for testimony
All eyes devouring me
And before I'm doñe
A man in white like monks head cover
With a big file like his bald head calls
Junita Andros!
Say your last words to your maker
If you truly believe in mythical existence
A coarse voice mocks
My last day to walk in the crowd
Not the girl of the crowd
Crowds have been a Reminder
Just like cheap Miss Blake's alarm clock
That reminds her of a new day
To work for pension
Crowds reminded me of my solitude
Days clouds turned to stones
Hands that showed direction
Now supporting big stones
Mouths that praised me a super woman
Now mocked a girl from the river
Eyes that saw me wish to live a minute
Now holding my soul with their arms
Three! Two! One!
Eyes closed and ready to receive a knock
From the crowd that used to give life
I hated crowds
Everyone looked like a killer
Anything held at arm's length
Looked like an angry stone
Anyone like an helper
Looked like an angel of death
Oh!
Price of being a scribe
World working indifatigable
To snatch my little life
Eating in crowds felt like tearing my flesh
Drinking in crowds felt like sipping my own cold blood
Serving myself in the crowd felt like designing my casket
Not a girl of the crowd
And everyone called me a loner
But they never bothered
That the stones in their hands
Still knocked my soul
And at first time
I hated being a scribe
Where I have no option to say-maybe later
What if I was a writer
With no commands to follow
Maybe I'd have options
To write later
Or out an end to it
