We are excited to announce the "Africa Takeoff Art Painting" competition organized by Nircle, celebrating the vibrant and diverse cultures of Africa. This competition aims to showcase the rich artistic talent across the continent and highlight the beauty, resilience, and potential for growth in Africa.
Guidelines:
Theme: "Africa Takeoff"
Create an art piece that captures the spirit of Africa's potential, growth, and the myriad of possibilities for a brighter future.
Highlight the diverse landscapes, cultures, and achievements that contribute to Africa's unique identity.
Add a caption to tell the story of your artwork
Medium:
All two-dimensional mediums are accepted, including but not limited to painting, drawing, digital art, and mixed media.
Eligibility:
Open to artists of all ages and backgrounds, residing in Africa.
Participants can submit more than one work of artwork each.
Submission Requirements:
1. Artwork must be an original creation.
2. High-quality digital images or scanned versions of the artwork should be submitted.
3. Submit your entry by posting your work to your Nircle profile using hashtags #Art to show up in the art feeds and #AfricaTakeoffArt for the contest hashtag
Deadline:
The deadline for submission is January 31, 2024, at 11:59 PM (EST) Voting Ends February 14 and winners are announced the week of February 15.
Judging Criteria:
Nircle selects experienced artists art gallery directors and other art experts in the field of arts. to judge based on the following:
Originality and creativity.
Adherence to the theme.
Skill and technique.
Emotional impact and storytelling.
Judges are not provided with the names of the artists.
Community vote: Community votes count for engagement score
A weighted average is calculated and winners are selected.
Prizes:
1st Place: $100 cash prize, feature on Nircle's blogs and social media, and a Nircle badge of achievement.
2nd Place: $50 cash prize, feature on Nircle's blogs and social media, and a badge of achievement.
3rd Place: $40 cash prize, feature on Nircle's blogs and social media, and a badge of achievement.
All Artists who participate can list and sell their original work on their Nircle catalog to an international audience in a promoted auction by Nircle. Artists are responsible for the shipment.
Winners Announcement:
Winners will be announced on Nircle's website and social media platforms on February 15, 2024.
Usage Rights:
By submitting the artwork, participants grant Nircle the right to showcase and promote the artwork on its platforms, giving full credit to the artist.
