Pelumi Nubi, a Nigerian lady embarking on an extraordinary two-month solo road trip from London to Lagos. The journey, typically a six and a half hours direct flight, is taken by car, with a customized Peugeot 107 equipped for sleeping and dining. The video details the meticulous preparations for the extensive trip across Europe to West Africa, emphasizing safety and thorough research on policies, costs, and the safest routes. Pelumi, who has already explored over 80 countries and undertaken several mini solo road trips, views this adventure as a daring step out of her comfort zone, covering about 17 countries. Her goal is not only to showcase Africa but also to inspire young black girls and motivate others to explore beyond their comfort zones.

Truthfully , you’re never 100% ready for something this massive. My approach? Set a date, and just go for it. Some days I am filled with so much excitement other days not so much!
4️⃣ Why sleep in my car?
For the freedom, folks! It allows me to be spontaneous, cuts costs, and adds a dash of excitement. I honestly wanted to see if I can push my self out of my comfort zone and do something different.

Starting from England, I’ll cross into France, then Spain, and head to Morocco. After that, it’s through the West Sahara Desert, Mauritania, Senegal, The Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Mali, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Ghana, Togo, Benin, and finally Nigeria, reaching Lagos. We will see how things go!
