It was a mix of royalty, glitz and glamour with the presence of who is who in Delta State as His Excellency Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar OON, Nigerian foreign affairs minister pays a condolence visit to Chief Broderick Arigbodi over the demise and final burial of his late mother Mrs Easter Arigbodi (nee Abeke). The first point of call was the palace of the Ovie of Agbon Kingdom His Royal Majesty Mike Omeru, Ukori the 1st CON where Amb. Yusuf Tuggar was given a royal welcome and blessing by the reverence king.
Amb. Yusuf Tuggar was later received by the Arigbodis at their country home in Isiokolo, Ethiope East Local Government Council Area.
The former Nigerian ambassador to Germany between 2017 to 2023 said, he's part of the Arigbodi family for years because his relationship with Chief Broderick Arigbodi has metamorphosed to being brothers and he was absent because of exigencies of his office during mama's burial, and as a family member he's here to give his last respect to their mother Mrs Easter Arigbodi.
Responding and giving a vote of thanks on behalf of the Arigbodis, the Member representing Ethiope East and the Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. (Olorogun) Arthur Akpowowo Esq. Welcomed the Nigerian foreign affairs minister, in a brief remark, Rt. Hon. (Olorogun) Akpowowo said, "Sir I met here 3 years ago and today you're here to pay your brother a condolence visit and in your speech you said, "the Arigbodi family is your family" so weed needs a wider reach and impact of your big office in Ethiope East, Delta State".
Dignitaries present include: Senator Edesiri Emmanuel Aguariavwodo senior political adviser to the executive governor of delta state, representing His Excellency Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori the executive governor of delta state, Rt. Hon. (Olorogun) Arthur Akpowowo Esq. deputy speaker, delta state house of assembly, Prof Nyerovvwo Johnbull Tonukari, delta state commissioner for higher education, Hon Jamani Tommy Ejiro Delta State commissioner for environment, Hon. Barr Olorogun Jaro Egbo Ksc executive chairman Ughelli north Local government council area and his wife Chief Mrs Vivian Egbo, Chief Midwest Iboyitete ethiope east PDP chairman and host of others.
