Jollof Rice Recipe
- rice
- vegetable oil
- fresh tomatoes
- meat
- seasoning cubes
- salt
- pepper
- onion
- crayfish
Instructions
Wash your meat with salt and water and boil, adding salt, seasoning cube and onion. Allow it to seamer for 3 - mins before adding more water. Bring it down when it's well cooked and soft.
Wash your rice and parboil to remove the starch.
Pour your vegetable oil into the pot, let it warm a little before throwing in your cut onion. Add the grounded tomatoes, stir till it becomes dry.
Then add the water used in cooking the meat.
Add seasoning cubes, grounded pepper, crayfish and salt to taste.
Allow the contents to stir well and boil for 3 - 5 mins before adding your parboiled rice and meat.
Turn the contents, while adding more water if need be. Cook for 10 - 15 mins.
Your jollof rice is ready.
