My first gray hair,
Here you are
I long expect you. Though you tarry,
I welcome you with gladness
Your presence scares yet excites me
Amidst dark siblings, you tower over them
Though I look forward to meeting you,
Your coming arrived with trepidation, you
Remind me how far the trip has been
You whisper to me to speed up
And cover left space
While you grow wide, inviting others
My first gray hair,
How tiny you look yet very visible
From a distant, you're sighted by all
You're a constant reminder of my adulthood
My adolescence years gone with years
And shall never again be
I'm now a man, a responsible one
Your appearance implicates and put me on adge
My first gray hair,
You're a reminder
My childhood and childishness is gone
Days of infantile idiosyncrasies ceases
I'm now full blown and aging fast
All masculinity in place and functional
Though you tickles my consciousness,
Howbeit, I'm set for the journey and all it brings
Your presence is a sure blessing in disguise
My first gray hair,
I know you're here to stay,
Just before you speed up and spread,
Telling all I'm aged
Please don't scare away the damsels
Less they pair you with my days and run
I'm yet without my ribs that's missing
Let your appearance lure her fast
Who constantly elude me
It's now certain,
The stage I attained comes with all goodies
I'm now set and long
To bask in the euphoria of your presence!
