I woke up to sounds of falling books, probably a phone and cloths everywhere on the floor and in me. My sister was picking cloths for her rich boyfriend birthday party. I told her I wanted to tag along because of the library was a cool place to stay out of dumb bimbos I thought. She applied a heavy load of clown powder on me, took Hb pencil and did my eye liner and a load of vastline of different brand on my lips, I looked like the perfect definaton of a clown and she wore me in some sort of huge high heels a tight dress and load of perfume. We got in the car and she drove like a crazy person, honing left and right nearly hitting one old lady crossing the road. She was crazy, a police man tried to make us slow down but she looked at his car like a piece of junk where ours is the piece of junk. We arrived very early and i lead my self to the library.
Hi there, my name is Maryann and this is a post from MSB please like and follow for more content.
I sat there reading the lost love and her prince and it made me a little bit sad but what aches me the most are these make Ups on me.
I saw a boy at the other side and I needed to use the rest room so I asked him.
Me: emm excuse me please may I know the way to the rest room.
He looked at me oh shoots it's my sister's boy friend big brother. He told me the way and I thank him for that when I was done I returned to my table but before sitting down I was a bit being harassed by some girls he stared down silently. I felt pity and came to the rescue like a hero.
Me: why does poor rich wanna be bimbos have to disturb my day
Elsa (the group leader) : look who's talking a big lunatic
Me: really just go back to your ragy comfortable cloths
Elsa: don't worry slip into something more convenient and comfortable a coma
Me: really you are annoying don't touch my boyfriend again
They. Stared In shock ad I took his hands and we sat on the same sit.
Chris: thank you Maryann
Me: it's no big deal Chris
Then his big brother came to my table and said seems you have a girlfriend I'm not aware about but hold on, His big brother stopped the party kicked 7 girls outside and continued the party and it was like nothing happened. It was getting late and I needed to head home am not like my sis that stays all night partying. Chris took me in his car back home and I thanked him. I slept early and by morning I received a delivery mail. He gave me some papers to sign and some boxes and he left saw a letter.
"dear Maryann,
I know you won't accept this even if I insisted soi got the mail man to give them to you. Please this and I hope to see you another day. Feel free to come around the library might get boring if am the only one around"
My brain, body and soul were all excited he got me a Del laptop and iPhone 15 pro max, So I stopped using Nokia Android. I went to work and opened the restaurant. I wiped the floor dust the sits adjust the television and then my co-workers came in Lisa, joy, march (who was the laziest can you imagined she threaten our boss she's going to arrest her because her bro is a cop, who does that right)
Prevail and Simon. I and Simon serve as the face of the shop and the customers love talking to us, prevail was part of the cooking team joy and march were washing the dishes and Lisa help me to wipe the floor. The owner of the shop actually gave the shop to us so it's ours not his anymore and he usually settle our self very well, like after a though day in the evening we bring ice cream, Crack jokes, play games. When we were talking together I heard a car horn. I saw a yellow lambogini outside and March decided to go outside then we saw the car door open and I saw Chris came.
March: the store is closed only if you go on a date with me and I'll let you in heheheheh
Chris: no you got it wrong am here to pickup Maryann
All of them stared at me. I stared at me too. He came in and he sat besides me. I felt all of them looking at me. Oh God send the holy goblins to cut off their eye. I decided to introduce all
Me: Chris this is March the sturbon
March: hey oh! Wait what did you say?!
Me: Simon the comedian
Simon: hello
Me: joy the joy giver
Joy: hi
Me: Lisa the peace maker
Lisa : wow! Mm hey there
Me: and lastly prevail the silent and observer
Prevail: thank you and hello there fellow
Me: everyone this is my boyfriend mmmm Chris
They all looked shocked including Chris. Oh I forgot to tell him that those mean witches I. The party last time were out side waiting for me not to say boy and to say only friend. I and Chris hang out a lot and I helped him since he was the perfect definition of lazy, smart, clumsy, weak, sleep lover and book lover, game addict, and he hates social life so I help him a lot but lately I feel like he have been giving me a weird sight like he states at me when he gets killed in the game, he mistakenly hits his toe on the wall instead of to speak 10 Languages he just smile and looks at me.
Freaky right. One day his big brother called me for some discussion.
Dun: well thank you for your time
Me: ehhh huh. It's no big deal
Dun: I need you to keep my brother safe and protect him from all these weirdos around.
Me: really well, no payment no again for ya
He looks at me
Dun: how does $3000 sounds for monthly payment.
Me: agreed.
I couldn't believe what I had just agreed to. $3000 a month to babysit Chris? It sounded like a dream come true. But as I looked into Dun's serious face, I knew this wasn't a joke.
"What do you mean by 'weirdos'?" I asked, curiosity getting the better of me.
Dun leaned in, his voice low. "Chris is a target for many people. He's rich, he's smart, and he's vulnerable. I need someone to keep him safe from those who would take advantage of him."
I nodded, understanding. "I'll do my best."
Dun smiled, a hint of relief in his eyes. "I knew I could count on you, Maryann. You're the only one who's been able to get through to Chris."
I blushed, feeling a warmth in my chest. Maybe this job wouldn't be so bad after all.
As I left Dun's office, I couldn't help but wonder what I had gotten myself into. But one thing was for sure - I was going to protect Chris with my life.
As I walked back to the restaurant, I couldn't help but think about Chris and his quirks. He was indeed a unique person, and I found myself enjoying his company more and more each day.
When I arrived, the gang was still buzzing about Chris's surprise visit earlier. March was still sulking, but the others were excitedly chattering about the yellow Lamborghini.
"Girl, you're one lucky woman!" Lisa exclaimed, winking at me.
I rolled my eyes good-naturedly. "It's not like that, guys. We're just friends."
But Simon raised an eyebrow. "Friends who get $3000 a month to hang out? Yeah, right."
I glared at him, but he just chuckled.
That evening, Chris texted me, asking to meet up at the library. I agreed, and when I arrived, he was already there, surrounded by stacks of books.
"Hey," he said, smiling, as I sat down beside him.
"Hey," I replied, feeling a flutter in my chest.
We spent the next few hours studying together, and I was struck by how easy it was to be around him. We laughed, joked, and even had a mini-competition to see who could solve a math problem faster.
As the night drew to a close, Chris walked me out of the library, his arm brushing against mine.
"Thanks for tonight, Maryann," he said, looking down at me with an intense gaze.
I smiled, feeling my heart skip a beat. "Anytime, Chris."
And then, just as we were about to part ways, he leaned in and whispered, "I'm really glad you're my friend, Maryann."
My heart skipped another beat as I wondered - was it possible that Chris felt something more for me too?
As I spent more time with Chris, I realized that he was not just a spoiled billionaire's son, but a complex and vulnerable person. He was struggling to find his place in the world, and his family's wealth and expectations were suffocating him.
I made it my mission to help him break free from his shell and discover his true potential. I encouraged him to pursue his passions, to take risks, and to stand up for himself.
At first, he was resistant, but I could see the spark of curiosity in his eyes. Slowly but surely, he began to open up, to share his fears and dreams with me.
And I was there to listen, to support him, and to push him to be his best self.
As the days turned into weeks, Chris transformed before my eyes. He became more confident, more assertive, and more determined.
And I realized that I had fallen for him, hard.
But I was determined to keep my feelings hidden, to maintain our friendship and not risk losing him.
Little did I know, Chris had secrets of his own, secrets that could change everything between us...
One evening, as we were studying together at the library, Chris's phone rang. He hesitated for a moment before answering, and I could sense a sudden tension in his body.
"Hello?" he said, his voice guarded.
I tried to focus on my books, but I couldn't help sneaking glances at Chris. His expression was unreadable, but his eyes seemed to cloud over with a mix of emotions.
"Yes, Father," he said finally, his voice firm but respectful.
I wondered who was on the other end of the line - his father, the billionaire?
The conversation was brief, but Chris's demeanor changed noticeably afterward. He seemed withdrawn, lost in thought.
"Hey, is everything okay?" I asked, concern etched in my voice.
Chris looked up, startled, and then forced a smile. "Yeah, everything's fine. Just family stuff."
I didn't push him further, but I could sense that something was bothering him deeply.
As we packed up to leave, Chris turned to me with an unexpected request.
"Maryann, can I ask you something?"
"Of course," I replied, curious.
Round up the story rember the story name is how I tamed a billionaire's kid. Make sure it's interesting.
I took a deep breath and stepped forward, my heart pounding in my chest. "With all due respect, sir," I said, trying to keep my voice steady, "Chris is an adult, capable of making his own decisions. Perhaps it's time to trust him and let him forge his own path."
Chris's father sneered at me. "And who are you to speak on behalf of my son? A mere friend, a... distraction?"
I felt a surge of anger, but Chris squeezed my hand, his eyes warning me to stay calm.
"I'm someone who cares about Chris deeply," I said, my voice firm. "And I know he deserves to be happy, to make his own choices."
The room fell silent, the tension between us almost palpable. Then, Chris's father spoke, his voice dripping with venom.
"Very well," he said. "If Chris wants to play it that way, then so be it. But know this, Maryann: you're not welcome here. And Chris, you'll regret crossing me."
With that, he turned and left the room, leaving us alone.
Chris let out a deep breath, his shoulders sagging in relief. "Thank you, Maryann," he said, his eyes filled with gratitude. "I don't know what I'd do without you."
I smiled, my heart full of emotion. "You'll never have to find out," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.
As we left the mansion, I knew that our journey was far from over. But I was ready to face whatever lay ahead, as long as I had Chris by my side.
