"When you pray, move your feet."
This adage has been one of Africa's best stories. The adage emphasizes the need for an African man to have a grateful heart.
Before now, an average man was always grateful for any little kindness, but at the time, someone who was not rooted in African styles and culture made us believe that gratitude brings down our worth in the eyes of people.
Is it true? I bet you know it is not true.
Gratitude is part of our heritage and culture. We shouldn't stop at receiving, we should extend our hands in appreciation.
Let us emphasize more in appreciation. This has been our birthright: gratitude.
Recently, I made a post, and someone whom I couldn't find his or her username here blessed me with a super thanks.
So, I decided to use this opportunity to be more like an African.
I don't know you sir/ma, but I know your kindness. An African lady here recognizes your kindness and I am grateful that my post generated a positive attitude of support from you.
