The expectancy came
A cry was heard
Born to the world is a child
Wrapped in the arms of a woman
A smile is what it's welcomed with
In the arms of a mother;
Turned by the second of time
Giving nothing but her affection
Child covered by the warmth of her breast
As cold air tingles in
Nursed as a young one
Pampered with love and care
Mother, watches as
Age takes her child away
Nurtured by the warmth of her hands
Engraved in her heart is always a child
No matter the transformation of adulthood.
