Mosquitoes: Distribution and Ecology


we will be looking at their distribution, their ecology and their seasonal prevalence. This is because the knowledge of these four parameters will help us so well in the control of mosquitoes. I feel it's nice to talk about them before we look into ways they can be controlled.
Mosquitoes definitely have a worldwide distribution. However, they are more abundant in areas with high temperature and humidity.
The first of the factors that influence their distribution is climatic factors and these include;
Humidity
Rains
Global warming
