Monday Morning Motivation: Life After 9-5.

It's that time of the week again - Monday.
Time to trade in our pajamas for our work clothes and head back into the office.
While the prospect of swapping sleeping in for sitting in traffic and attending yet another meeting might not seem all that appealing, I encourage you to reframe your mindset this Monday.
(Ps.. I, your writer do need this motivation more than you do.)
I mean,(notice the sarcasm beaming out of my speech please) what could be better than collapsing on the couch at 6pm every night, too exhausted to do anything except scroll mindlessly through social media until we pass out, only to wake up and do it all over again?. Wake up, work, come home, sleep, repeat. What more could a person ask for?
(It’s too Routine and a little bit not what I have planned for life but Yh).
I don't know about you, but I live for those precious weekend days where I can sleep in until a world-shaking 9am, make myself a glorified bowl of cereal for "brunch", and then spend the next 48 hours stressing about all the chores, errands, and "adulting" that I have to cram into a mere 2 days before it's time to start the workweek grind all over again.
True freedom, am I right?
Nope, we're part of a massive workforce of grateful, grateful drones who have been brainwashed into believing that trading the majority of our waking hours for a meager paycheck is the absolute pinnacle of the human experience.
I know - it's easy to get caught up in the mentality that our careers are the be-all and end-all. We're conditioned from a young age to focus singlemindedly on climbing the corporate ladder, setting ambitious professional goals, and defining our self-worth by our job titles and paychecks. And don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with taking pride in our work and seeking to advance in our careers. But if that's the ONLY thing we're pouring our time and energy into, we're missing out on the richness that the rest of life has to offer.
I do not even know all that life has to offer’
(Cries in my paycheck).
I don’t think I know what FUN is? Or should be?
Not to bore you much… Life is good. Life is great. Life is...well, it's certainly something, that's for sure.
your motivation is ..The weekend is only 5 days away. Just keep through those endless meetings, skipping lunch, and chugging water like your life depends on it.#poetry
Before you know it, you'll be back on that couch. And hopefully life will align like they say.
#Nirclestory The 9-5 is just the beginning. The real adventure awaits you beyond the office doors. Go forth and conquer.
#Mondaymorning I'll see you on the other side- Success.
