I've come to realize that all that I thought would matter don't anymore
The pain, the joy , the fears, the expectations and hopes
All the emotion I thought would become a big part of me are almost non-existent
I barely remember all the things I said I would never forget
My childhood doesn't bind me as much as I thought
All the memories of my youth have fizzled away
And I'm left with ideas of what I think are memories of a lifetime I swore never to forget
Cherish every moment and everyday because one day you won't remember they ever existed
It's a bittersweet feeling
But that's life
