SHE MARRIED HER GATEMAN.
CHAPTER 1
Jane was angry at the words of the pastor. So, she flared up, "pastor, why must it be me that you give such prophecies? What do you mean by you are looking for high class men, that is why you are having several heartbreaks. You are destined to marry a nobody."
She continued, "I am begging you for the last time, I don't want to hear such trash again. Or I leave your church. I am not the only Sphinster in this church. Why all these embarrassments in the name of prophecy?" She walked out of the church and never returned.
Actually, she had had four heartbreaks. John was her first love. John and Jane starting dating as teenagers. They agreed to maintain a sex free relationship as both were attracted to each other at a very tender age.
John was thirteen and Jane was twelve. Both were born with silver spoons in their mouths. They both attended the same secondary school and were often referred to as ' best couple' in their school get together.
They both wrote their final exams the same year and passed with flying colors. They gained admission into the same university, the same session.
John later double dated in their second year and impregnated a girl on campus. Georgian as she was called had strict christian parents. So, her effort with John to secretly terminate the pregnancy failed. John was mandated to keep to Georgian as his wife to be.
Jane was seriously heartbroken and almost had a carry over in one of her core courses. With time she got herself. She then decided to move on with her life and faced her studies squarely.
She was able to graduate in architecture as one of the best in her set with a second class upper division with honors.She got a classical job just after her youth service.
Right in her office, she was head over heals in love with one of her co- workers. Clement was very good looking, smart and well to do.
